The world's most accurate line of air chucks and custom workholding solutions! Northfield offers standard 3 jaw self-contained air chucks with better than 0.000010" (.25u) repeatability. Sizes from 3" to 18" in diameter are available as rotating or stationery, coolant through or dry, with speeds up to 6,500 RPM. Through-hole and quick change models are also available. Northfield also offers high-speed diaphram chucks, up to 15,000 RPM totally sealed designs with no metal to metal moving parts and better than 0.000040" (1u) repeatability. Sizes from 3" to10" diameter with interchangeable top jaws.

Northfield's engineers can provide custom workholding devices for any part that seems impossible to hold! Previously designed and built chucks in the past include, swivel acting pull-down fixture for hard turning. Lightweight diaphram chucks for balancing turbines and a 2-jaw offset chuck with dual locators! Additionally, Northfield engineers have provided a diaphram chuck up to 10,000 RPM for CV joint balancing and a 10" quick-change pull-down pallet chuck!
